Renew Your Mind

It’s been a long time since I have taken a vacation. The last vacation I went on was my honeymoon (the weekend getaway in Palm Springs since then doesn’t count). This year we decided to do something nice and we’re heading on our first cruise. We are going to Alaska on Celebrity Cruises. I’m looking forward to all the good food and hopefully I’ll be able to exercise so I won’t gain too much weight. We booked two excursions so far. In Ketchikan we are going on the Orca Cove half day kayaking adventure. In Juneau, we booked a whale watching excursion with Captain Larry. Both excursions received good reviews from the folks over at Cruise Critic. Our ship also makes a stop in Sitka, but we decided to see what the port has to offer when we get there. We are arriving in Vancouver a couple days early and plan on using the trolley to get us around town and show us some of the highlights. A little rest and relaxation is what this body needs and this vacation isn’t coming soon enough. Only two more days to go!
